Aspirant’s Forum is a community of UPSC Aspirants, who have decided to come together to work as a team and share their thoughts and views online.

We, as a team, have decided to pool its resources and efforts, and help the fellow aspirants, who are misled and cheated by the jhoolachhap (झोलाछाप) coaching Gurus. Our effort is to resolve the queries and confusions of the fellow aspirants, in the best possible way.

It shall be our effort to provide as much as we can, free of cost.

Since we belong to the same section of the student community, that put all their effort for one dream, We will try to serve all the needs of the IAS aspirants, in the best possible way.

MGNREGS includes Rural Sanitation Now


The scope and reach of the UPA flagship programme MGNREGS (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) was extended to benefit more households in the rural areas. In a series of decisions, the government has subsumed the development tasks, from various other schemes, under MGNREGS.

UPA government widened the scope of MGNREGS to include works relating to rural sanitation in collaboration with the Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan (NBA). It is expected that this would strengthen the base of rural livelihood and create durable assets and infrastructure at village level.
