Coriolis Force–Derivation


In the previous article we discussed about some basics of Coriolis force which is an imaginary force experienced by an object moving relative to a rotating frame of reference. In the present article we have derived  the formula for coriolis force and coriolis acceleration.

Coriolis acceleration is a vector quantity which provides the acceleration of a moving object relative to a fixed coordinate when added to the acceleration of the object relative to a rotating frame of reference and the centripetal acceleration.
